Which program ?

The Silk is a 100% surf and wave riding foil. Designed for experienced surfers looking for the ultimate gliding sensation, it is also the absolute weapon for wing foilers looking for wave performance.

FEATURES +

Huge attention has been paid to the smoothness of the transition between back side and front side turns. The ultimate flow whether it is in the strongest carve or the most flowing lines.

The use of tubercles (bumps) combined with winglets allows to optimise low range, stability and control even in the most disturbed and aerated waters. You have maximum confidence to dynamically "tip out" carve, whilst keeping full control.

This Silk mast was designed specifically for wave riding. Just 13.8 mm thick, with 115 mm chord, 80cm long, it delivers the ideal glide/manoeuvrability ratio. Ultra High Modulus carbon construction for rigidity.

The foils are directly moulded with the fuselage in one piece allowing a continuity of the carbon structural fibres while keeping a perfect hydrodynamic flow to maximise glide. This process provides the necessary rigidity for a perfect transmission of rider input, unequalled control and ultra precise riding of the foil for simply the best performance.

How to choose your Silk foil?

Silk 650
The foil cut for the best surf foilers and very small builds. Very good in wing foil in the waves, usable in kitefoil wave and tow in. Medium to muscular conditions.

Silk 850
Intended for wave-experienced surf foilers and wing foilers in intermediate wind and wave conditions. Possible in kite foil freewave.

Silk 1050
Ideal for advanced wave riders who want performance in lighter surf foil and wing conditions.

Which mast to choose?

Surf foiling and wave riding have specific constraints. For this, we have designed a carbon mast specific to this range. Silk family aircraft are only compatible with Silk masts, with a single connection meeting the needs of the assembly. Currently available in 80cm.

What is the construction of the Silk foil?

We use Ultra High Modulus and High Modulus carbon fibers for exceptional stiffness. This sampling optimization makes it possible to obtain a foil that is both very strong but also super light.

What's included?

The Mast is supplied with board mounting screws and nuts, the M8 x 45mm CSK Mast to Fuselage mounting screws and mast bag which allows the foil to be left assembled or demounted, while still being protected by the bag.

The main plane and stabilisers are supplied with their own bags which allow the foil to be left assembled or demounted, while still being protected by the bags. The Stabilisers include the M6 x 16mm CSK mounting screws

The complete foil is sold with its covers (bags). The set includes the screws TX30 screwdriver, the front wing, the stabiliser and the mast.

CRUISER
The range is divided into 3 sizes - Small, Medium and Large.

This range of stabilisers offers a good balance between stability, glide, and manoeuvrability. Performance-oriented and accessible, its profile provides glide, while its light arrow and progressive dihedral ensure intuitive handling.

This stabiliser covers a very wide range of uses in wing foil, surf foil, sup foil or even downwind.

The behaviour of the stabiliser is characterized by its smoothness and progressiveness. In wing or kite, you feel a comfortable flying sensation, combining mastery and potential.

This range is particularly well suited for our Performer, Flyer >2024 or Evo range, but also for our Advanced wings (Pure, Silk) which help to tame/calm the whole performance profile of these very high perfomance foils.

The choice of size will depend on your front wing and your practice. You will find a table on our website indicating the perfect choice by combining these two criteria.

PURE

Pure 145 and 150

The 145 has a flat dihedral, which will provide a lot of control, and the control will become even more important, naturally at high speeds. So, this is a great stabilizer for everything that will be racing, free race use. But also, for freeride performance, with high evolution speeds.

It can also be used in big waves, and everything that will really be… search for high evolution speed, and search for control in these evolution speeds.
It is particularly well suited for our Pure range but is also ideal for unleashing your Performer or Evo range.

The 150 stabiliser was developed with a dihedral and an arrow to provide manoeuvrability in roll and attack curves. So, a turning radius that will be much lower than the 145.

In the same way, it is mounted particularly well on our Pure range but will also be ideal for unleashing your Performer or Evo range.

Pure HA 135 and 165

Finally, the two Pure HA 135 and 165 are stabilisers with a higher aspect ratio. They will always provide more glide but also more stability. They are particularly suitable for downwind practice in combination with the Pure HA800 and Pure HA1100.

Silk 132, 142 & 152

On the SILK 132, 142, 152, the compact outline and the marked dihedral will allow to optimise the transitions from one rail to the other. At medium and high speed, they provide multiple changes of support with maximum fluidity thanks to the control provided by the bumps on the leading edge. The changing of turns in all directions becomes intuitive and with great ease.

These HA stabilisers express their full potential at low and medium speeds. They therefore facilitate the pumping and relaunch phases after manoeuvres.

The dihedral and outline provide very good manoeuvrability, ideal for carving at low and medium speed. The thin profile also gives very good gliding abilities at higher speeds or downwind.

These stabilisers are particularly well suited for the SILK range but also for all AFS front wing models. You will find a table on our website indicating the perfect choice by combining these two criteria depending on your practice.
