EPOXY 2 PACK RESIN - CLEAR - FAST SET

Clear Epoxy Quick Set Resin in a handy re sealable 2 Syringe pack to ensure accurate measuring.

This adhesive is ideal for bonding handles into paddles or doing little fixes on blades or rigid boards, but it also has a multitude of uses, being ideal for bonding many items made from metal, ceramic, glass, wood, and many types of plastic (always test first if unsure)

Make sure the surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry before applying adhesive.

Squeeze out the amount needed from both syringes in equal proportions and mix thoroughly using non-metal implements, and apply the adhesive to the surfaces to be bonded.

Although the resin is quite thick, you may need to hold or clamp the items together while the initial hardening takes place.

To reduce the tendency for the resin to yellow over time, avoid exposure to direct sunlight for 24 hours, but especially for the first hour - Some yellowing will always take place over time, so do not expect the resin to remain completely clear.

Avoid contact with Skin and Eyes - do not swallow and always work in a well ventilated area. Do not let contents of the pack Freeze or store the pack at temperatures above 28C.

At 20C, mixing working time 2 to 3 minutes

At 20C, initial cure in approximately 5 mins

At 20C full cure in approximately 24 hours

Fully Cured product withstands temperatures in the range of -40C to +80C

Can be sanded and painted after full cure, and is suitable for mixing with Glass Bubbles, Micro Balloons, Milled Fibres to increase bulk for fillets and shaping, but remember you have a very short working time before hardening starts to occur.
