Concept:

As the board range which started the whole 4 in 1concept way back in 2009, some might say the Sealion concept had nothing more to prove!

Stand Up Paddle and Windsurf - it was after all, already the ultimate WindSUP range of boards, but we keep developing and refining so for >2022, we have 5 Sealions Wings and 2 Summerboards in the range.

With the Sealion Wings, we welcome you into another dimension!

To push it even further and try a new experience, we chose to add our AFS foils onto it.

Several prototypes later, with continual refinement of the underside and the perfect Carbon/Glass/PVC/Wood & 'Green Pox' OSS construction for its new role, the 'Sealion Wings' was born.

For our >2022 range (fully available from August 2021), we have further refined these magnificent boards to take the AFS Alpha Foil (and just about every other foil others) by fitting only Plate Head box system (twin box at 90mm pitch) system so that owners can approach the Sealion wings from either the more Windsurfing/Paddleboarding/Surfing background with Twin US box fins provided, or the AFS Alpha Foils for Wing/Wind/SUP & Surf Foil!

With a Sealion Wings in your life, there is a whole new universe of experiences that will open up before you!

With just one single board you can light wind Wave Ride, Freeride and Freestyle, WindFoil on flat water and waves and it's an absolute hoot with its uncluttered deck for downwinding with a rig!

They make a lovely partner for Wingfoiling in flat water or waves and many people find the slightly longer/narrower shape compared with dedicated Wing Boards, a lot more comfortable to start with and they provide plenty of fun and performance for experienced riders as well!

Of course they SUP really well on flat water with remarkable glide for such short boards, but really come alive in SUPSurf mode or with a foil on waves and downwind the SUPFoil opportunities are almost endless!

In the surf, the Sealion Wings are the most explosive of the Sealion family, also faster on flat water, while for gliding in the air on your foil - the only one!

Shape:

When developing the Sealion Wings, we were looking to both improve on the Surfing /Windsurfing performance of the Sealion PRO and optimize take off and gliding capabilities with a foil.

Rails have been sharpened, thickness reduced and a large concave developed, running forward from between the twin tail fins.

This is a more reactive board which surfs really close to the wave trough. We also increased the nose scoop to make it a more tolerant board when surfing in the wave trough.
