Which program for a Strapped Sealion?

In Surfsailing, the Sealion Strapped is incisive in all wave conditions and from 6 knots of wind.

In Windfoil, it is playful and very lively underfoot.

On a SUP practice, it becomes the radical sup shortboard reserved for the most experienced.

In Supfoil, the Sealion Strapped allows you to take off very quickly thanks to its length, synonymous with inertia and accessibility.

In Wingfoil, the Sealion Strapped displays very harmonious features, ideal for flying early with a lot of stability, becoming very smooth and fluid once you are flying.

Which Strapped to choose?

The Strapped is available in two sizes M and L.

We recommend the Strapped M for people under 80 kg and the Strapped L for people over 80 kg.

Construction

The Strapped is built on a Carbon sandwich base. We follow a unique manufacturing process during which all the layers of fabrics, reinforcements, and boxes are applied in a double-shell mould, then cured according to a process allowing an ideal polymerization of the resins for a perfect reproduction and an optimal weight/strength ratio. . The resin used for the construction of our boards is a biosourced epoxy SR GreenPoxy (more than 33% of the molecules come from vegetable sources)

What's included?

The Sealion Strapped is sold with 3 x Footstraps, including Screws and Anti-Twist Plates, Twin Rail US boxes for foil and 3 x US boxes for fins - see Tech Spec for more info on suggested fins.

Fins are not included, but Kai Sports can easily tailor a package around any of the Select Fin Range to meet your individual needs, so please contact us before ordering

Warranty:

All AHD Sealion products come with a 2 year warranty, subject to our fair usage policy.

Most versatile fin set up for Windsurf is "Tri-Fin" with fins like Select X1.v4 19 to 21cm + Pair X1.v4 8cm.

For single fin, we suggest X1.v4 21cm or Fast Wave 23cm.

For SUP we suggest a pair of X1.v4 17cm or Select Ocean 7.5" for a more directional feel

All Fin suggestions depend on your weight/riding style and locations.

Many other sizes & combinations/makes of fins will also apply - We suggest these in the UK, to give a good starting point to help you release the full potential in your Strapped Sealion!
