Do not be alarmed that the AFS WindFoil is now labelled FFV U15-U17 - and a lot of the information you will see is about Youth Racing.

This range of foils has to excel for everyone, so is developed to offer exceptional performance for all riders from Recreation to Racer!

WINGS THAT CUT THROUGH THE WATER MORE EFFICIENTLY

The profile and section of our front wings have been designed to improve both speed and glide. The objective of the design office was to increase the surface area while reducing the drag, allowing us to achieve an even better fluid flow around the wing.

More surface area with an optimized chord ensures earlier ascent and delayed descent in variable winds, offering much more sustained flight.

AFS expertise and reliability you can rely on: we only produce our Foils in Carbon, made in our own factory in France.

New 200 & 240 stabilisers with high-performance profile - More elongated aspect ratio (reduced chord, more length) ensures more glide and excellent stability at high speed. They are homogeneous stabilisers allowing you to sail comfortably in all light and strong wind conditions.

With inertia and power, the 240 stabilizer allows you to keep planning through all but the most severe wind drops.

With a reduced wingspan, the 200 stabilizer will boost your v-max to new levels!

T-BAR REMOVABLE OR NOT - FULL CARBON CONSTRUCTION

For ultimate performance, durability and simplicity, we keep the Windfoil range as a Fixed (bonded and pinned) T-BAR as standard, be it for the more recreation oriented 95cm mast with 94.5 Fuselage or the full race 100cm mast and 105 cm fuselage, in Ultra High Modulus carbon for the ultimate in both Race and high performance recreational rider solutions.

We are aware that a small percentage of riders want to take their favourite foil with them overseas, so need a more compact form - from 2022 we have made the 95cm mast with the 94.5cm fuselage available as a 'special order' with removable fuselage with a simple 3 screw assembly into a substantial conical pocket.

Extensive calculations and research have been carried out to obtain a well reinforced assembly. The new conical Mast to Fuselage Joint allows perfect transmission of forces and sensations between the mast and the fuselage, allowing you to fit the 94.5cm Fuselage without any loss of performance from the 95cm mast.

We have done this to meet the requests of customers wanting the convenience of a very small pack (approx. 110 x 35 x 10cm) with only 3 extra screws, but we know over time, even this superb new joint will wear and ultimately require "re-seating" to maintain strength and performance, which is why we are making it as a 'special order only' from September 2022 onwards.

Kai Sports usually have W95/94.5 model in stock, due to popularity of flying from the UK with your foil.

We recommend everyone who does not need a really compact foil, to order our incredibly reliable and easy to live with "One Piece T-Bars", which simply deliver the best performance possible, in the easiest possible form.


FULL CARBON CONSTRUCTION

The full carbon construction brings rigidity and lightness to the foil (full foil weight: 4.2 kg). In the same way, you will no longer be bothered with marine aggressions such as corrosion which could weaken it.

MADE IN FRANCE

We master the manufacturing process from A to Z of our foils to ensure the best possible quality of manufacture. In addition, the pre-preg construction allows operators to no longer breathe the toxic fumes emanating from the resin. The pre-preg fibers are cut with a laser machine, then assembled in a mould and finally fired at a certain pressure to obtain the desired shape.

THE PACK

The complete Demountable Foil includes its own carry case for all the components. It comes with a screwdriver and full set of screws for the foil.

The complete Fixed T-Bar model Includes T-Bag with pouch containing screwdriver and screws. The wings come with their own bags which can be used with the T-Bag to leave the complete foil assembled but still protected.

Fixed T-Bar only Includes T-Bag or Demountable 95 Mast/94.5 Fuselage only includes Mast and Fuselage Bags - all include screws (except Wing screws, as these are specific to these items and supplied with them).

When you purchase individual Wings, Stabilisers, Masts, Fuselages, T-Bars they are all supplied with the appropriate bags and screws.
