Tech Specs/Care Advice:

How to use the product

SHOULD I RINSE MY BOARD?
We recommend rinsing the board after each session and drying it out of the cover before storing it. This way, the decorations will last longer and you'll avoid osmosis and mould.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE DECOMPRESSION SCREW?
The air vent screw is located on your board. It's very important because it regulates the pressure inside the board, which can increase with temperature or altitude. If this pressure is not regulated, it can damage your board. It is therefore crucial to open this screw when storing the board, especially in hot places such as a car or a sunny beach. If you have an automatic decompression screw, you don't need to do anything - the board regulates itself.

SHOULD I START WITH STRAPS AND HOW DO I INSTALL THEM?
Don't use straps if you're just starting out. To install the straps, place them in a V-shape in the predefined holes with the appropriate screws supplied when you buy AFS straps. It's very important to use the screws supplied, as their length and diameter are adapted to the inserts in our boards.

Make sure you insert the screws straight and not askew. You can also use anti-twist plates to prevent the strap from turning around the screw. When it comes to adjustment, there are two schools of thought: those who put the whole foot in by opening the straps completely, and those who put only half the foot in by tightening the straps more.

This will help to get the foot out more easily in the event of a fall. It all depends on your morphology and taste. There is no strap for the rear foot on this board, as it is dedicated to light and downwind riding.

HOW DO I FIT A LEASH ROPE?
Start by inserting the black rope supplied with the leash into the plug at the tail of the board. Leave a little length to prevent the leash from rubbing directly on the tail and finish off with a small knot.
